Short Trip To Kasauli

Kasauli is a small hill station that comes on the way to Shimla. It is a really calm place as compared to other Hill Stations as it is comparatively less populated and you will find a lesser rush. Kasauli is about 60km from Chandigarh. It is on the same Chandigarh Shimla highway NH-5 but the route changes from Dharampur for about 10 km.
Kasauli is really a heaven. If you want a short pleasant trip full of nature's beauty, Kasauli is for you.  It's just a 2-day trip but a trip like you will admire for life. And you can do the whole trip in less than Rs 3000.

Places I Visited there
1. Sunset point
2. Sunrise point
3. Hanuman Mandir
4. Gurudwara
5. Church
6. Meditation point

Day 1

I started the trip from Ludhiana on a bus which costs me around Rs 110. From Chandigarh, I took the bus to Dharampur which costs me around Rs 85. I changed the bus from there which took around 15-20 Rs. Means I reached there in about Rs 200 from my town.
Kasauli is mainly under army supervision but the army will never disturb you and you will feel safe. It does have a tuck shop from where you can buy products sold by the Indian Army and have the Indian Army logo on it. I don't know why but I feel good while buying these as the money directly goes to the army.
When I reached Kasauli I feel really blessed as a co-incident Nagar Kirtan (Its basically Sikh's religious roam on the streets)  was going on there where they perform Gatka (Sikh Marshall arts) and sing religious chant. They perform so amazingly that everyone standing there got mesmerized.
Then we take a room for us in RS 700. Kasauli is a little bit costly in terms of hotel rooms but The trick here is that you can take a room in the Heritage Market. There you can go to a guest house but you have to compromise a little bit about the quality of the room.
As there was evening by now, we went to see the sunset at Sunset Point.
It was really very beautiful, the pure nature created by the greatest creator.
Then we went to Church and Gurudwara.
Then we had Bun samosa which is a specialty of Kasauli and you will find some places in the Heritage market. It's really delicious to have it with Gulab Jamun.
Then we went to our room to take a sleep.

Day 2

In the morning we went to see the sunrise from Sunrise Point and then from there, we went to see the Hanumaan Mandir which is situated on top of a hill. This area is army protected and you cannot take your cell phones. So keep your cell phones in your car or bike or you can submit it there at a shop.
Because Kasauli is a less touched area you will find monkeys there and especially near Hanuman Mandir. The presence of monkeys is actually good as on many hill stations monkeys cannot be seen because of excessive human intervention.
Then we came back to see the Meditation point which is a really calm place with a beautiful view of Chandigarh from there. Just close your eyes and feel the wind on your face here.
After calming our minds we went back to our room packed our bags and started our journey back home. Which costs me Rs 200 more
