You can know how to do LEH LADHAK trip in just 13000
We were 3 persons and I m writing total expenses.
Flights for about 2300 each
2300x3= 6900
Day 1
Train from Ludhiana to Delhi-140x3 = 420Then from Railway station I went to the metro and take a metro to the airport- 60x3=180
Stayed the night at the airport because my flight was at 5 in the morning and I took dinner with me from home.
Day 2
I took a flight from the airport and reached Leh airport by 6:30 in the morning.
Cab from Airport to the hotel- 200 (He was asking for 370 as this is base
price but after coming out of the airport I found a cab who got ready
for 200)
Reached hotel which was previously booked from OYO bt I
told him that I have no bookings so I got to bargain and got the same
room for RS 800
which I had booked for 1300.
Then took rest for
some time and then went to the market where I took the permit for 600 per
person. (Actually permit is for 500 but I booked through the agency as the
the time it took for permit I visited many placed in Leh like the market
Shanti stupa, Leh palace, Leh market, etc
I also want to have an activa for Leh local sightseeing but it was not available soo I Roam on foot.
Lunch = 270
Dinner(thukpa)= 130x3= 390
While roaming in Leh I consult many bike hirers, I bargained with them
But my hotel manager booked it for me at 1000 each for 2 bikes (Royal Enfield 350cc)
soo 1000x2(bikes)x4(days)=8000
Day 2 expenses= 200+800+1800+270+390+8000=11460
Day 3
We took the bikes filled the tanks and oil cans for 2550
We left from the hotel at 8 in the morning and the tragedy happens,
Then we took back the bike with spoiled mood and our wasted time and
asked the bike person to change the bike and then took Royal Enfield
500cc for 1200 per day.
But he took soo much time that we were able to leave for Kardungla at 2 pm. He even didn't give full fuel as by just
arguing he gave 2 liters less fuel but I don't want to fight at that time
soo I just kept going.
But I didn't pay him the rest of 800 (1200-1000= 200x4= 800) and told him to talk about it later.
Breakfast = 180
Lunch = Eatables taken with us and the maggie and kava at Kardungla top 30 for maggie and 40 for kava
30+40= 70x3= 210
Reached Diskit at 7:00 pm ( As rooms in Diskit are cheaper than Hunder soo we stayed there)
Hotel room = 700
Dinner= 300
Day 4
We got ready and travel all the places like Diskit monastery, Hunder, camel ride at Hunder, clicked a lot of pics
Took breakfast in Hunder 90x3= 270
Then we head to Panamik at about 12 noon
Went Sumur and took lunch maggie and cold drink = 400
Then went to Panamik
The route is very awesome but I didn't find anything awesome in Panamik (sorry to say)
But when u can enjoy the journey then Why worry about the destination.
Then returned to Diskit and had Maggie at T point between Panamik and Diskit= 30x3=90
Same hotel for 700
Dinner = 300
Day 4 total exp 270+400+90+700+300= 1760

which is considered as a half day.

Day 6 total exp= 250+300+400+400= 1350
Day 7
We booked the bus for Manali for 850 each= 2550

Then we explored the markets and it is really very costly
If u guys want to shop then don't shop in main market goo forward and
there was a narrow market named Moti market(the name is not confirmed as I didn't focus on it much)
Ate many things
Total on eatables= 1200
I Am not writing about shopping as it is the voluntary expense.
Day 7 total exp= 3750
Day 8
We took the bus and it was one of the worst bus experience ever.
we were able to get the last set of the bus only and jumps we got were so high that I strike 2 times at the roof of the bus.
A full day I felt nauseatic
Just travel by bus if You could handle it either don't see for money and take a flight back.
